....with our first challenge here on Let's Craft and Create.
The challenge is 'Gift', this can be interpreted in many ways. You may like to make a gift or gift packaging or even a gift tag or card....the choice is yours, as long as your creation is gift related.
For all those taking part in our first challenge we have a little 'gift' for one lucky winner, who will be chosen at random. Below are our samples with a little information on how they were made and supplies used.
We look forward to seeing all your wonderful creations, don't forget you can add a link to your design using Mr Linky or by emailing us with a photo attached.
I had fun altering a notebook which I bought from our local supermarket and making a matching bookmark using Papertrey Ink's bookmark die. These make great gifts for teachers for end of year presents and can be packaged in a cellophane bag with matching tag.
PAPERTREY INK: Take Note Stampset, Kraft Cardstock, Hodge Podge Papers, Rustic Jute Button Twine, Button.
STAMPIN UP: Creamy Caramel and Pumpkin Pie Ink, Felt Flower
I enjoyed making this matching card and pillow box set, for that persons special day. I used the Cuttlebug Flower Flourish embossing folder and little pearl rhinestones along with the Spellbinders labels 3.

.....and here's our little gift to one lucky winner for taking part in our first challenge.
Charo has painted this wonderful design onto a Kete Basket using Acrylic Paint, sealing it with Varnish.
As Charo says in her email, this would be a fabulous gift holder to give to family or friends overseas to represent NZ.
It really is a beautiful project Charo, thank you for joining in with our challenge.
