I made this card and matching bookmark for my daughter's birthday on Friday.  I used the Spellbinders plain and lacey circles and tags.  The flowers were punched from cardstock using the Stampin Up 5 Petal Flower punch and I've added pearl rhinestones to the centres.   I also made a gift box to match.

Mandy

I was trying really hard not to use Kraft cardstock again, but...failed!  I love it.  My card and gift bag have been embossed using the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday Folder.  I used Pink Bakers Twine and Jute Button Twine to crochet the flowers.

If you are interested in a tutorial for crocheted flowers try this video which I found to be one of the easiest to follow.

Challenge #4 is Halloween.  You don't need to be into ghosts and ghouls to take part, for example you could use colours associated with Halloween or even a card or gift for that special little monster!

Below are our samples and a little information about them.

Eileen

I've made some bookmarks using large paper clips which will make a cool gift.
The Treat Bag is another great idea for the kids when they call.  You can find the tutorial here for the treat bag.

Mandy

How cute are these little boxes.  Just big enough to hold a spooktacular treat!  I am a big fan of Angie Juda's (Chic n' Scratch) tutorials and these boxes are no exception. You can watch her video on how to make them here

...and then there's Angie's little treat holders, I find I use this little technique alot as it's a simple but fab way to give a little treat to someone.  Angie's video for these can be found here.

...lastly a couple of fun bags.  I ran these little packets through my cuttlebug using the tiny bubbles embossing folder.

Papertrey Ink: Tiny Treat: Halloween Stamp Set.  Stampin Up:  Black, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon. Basic Grey: Off Beat Papers. Ribbon Girl: Little Packets Size Three

A DASH OF PINK...

Emma, Devotion to the Dream, creates some fantastic designs and it was this card of hers that inspired my projects today.

I used my trusty sewing machine to sew the pages into the booklet.  To add a little more detail to the inside I popped in a pouch with a library card, these are such fun!

Bookmarks are a great way to use up all the scraps of cardstock

Papertrey Ink: Just the Ticket Stamp Set, Library Card Stamp, Spiral Notebook Die, Library Pocket Die, Bookmark Die, Kraft Cardstock Stampin Up: Creamy Caramel Ink, My Favourite Things: Pure Innocence Make Mine a Double Stamp

Our 'think pink'  challenge is still running, either scroll down or click here to find out the details.

I decided to make a couple of little handbags for something a little different.  They would be great for a small gift or little sweet treats.
